As an active developer of retail properties, Empire seeks to find the best opportunities to serve its retailers needs. Since we work with many different retailers, some of whom operate in different formats, our criteria is varied to accommodate their needs. Empire’s primary acquisition strategy is to purchase retail and commercial opportunities located within high barrier to entry, infill and high population growth markets. We also look at highway commercial opportunities next to major freeway offramps and suburban markets with a stable employment base. We will acquire properties that are free and clear of debt or have existing debt to assume.
